How to reset your Ideagen Mail Manager Enterprise desktop offline outlook (PST) file

This article shows you how to reset your Ideagen Mail Manager Enterprise desktop offline file.
This offline file is where the folders and mail items are held on your computer, this is in Microsoft's PST file format, and these files can become corrupt or stop syncing.
To reset these folders, we simply rename and recreate the file as detailed below.
Steps to delete and recreate the PST File

Close Outlook
Make sure Outlook is completely closed before making any changes to PST files. -
Locate the Current PST File
Navigate to the folder where your Mail Manager PST file is stored.
Typically:C:\Users\<YourUsername>\AppData\OnePlace Solutions\
or%LocalAppData%\OnePlace Solutions\ -
Delete the Existing PST File
Right-click the PST file and choose Delete.
You can also change the name to something like:oneplacemail-Old.pst(This keeps the old file as a backup. This is not needed but you may feel safer doing this) -
Restart Outlook
When Outlook restarts, the add-in will automatically create a new PST file in the same location.
Additional Notes
Backup:
You can choose to keep the old PST file until you confirm everything is working correctly.
Automatic Recreation:
The add-in will handle creating the new PST file; no manual creation is needed.
Impact:

1. Locate your Ideagen Mail Manager Enterprise folders in Outlook.
This might say OnePlaceMail or Ideagen Mail Manager
2. Right click the Header folder. Choose "Open File Location".
This will open the folder in windows where your Ideagen Mail Manager Enterprise Outlook offline file is stored.
