Who is this article for?

Users who want to turn off the send and save prompt in the Web app.

No special access or permissions are required.

The send and save prompt appears automatically when you send an email without selecting a filing location. This setting is enabled by default and cannot be turned off in bulk - each user must disable it individually in their own settings.

This article explains where to disable it.

1. Disabling the prompt

To disable the prompt:

1. Open the Ideagen Mail Manager Web app.
2. Go to Settings.
3. Select User Settings.
4. Uncheck the box Show warning message when I have not set a filing location on outgoing mail.

5. Click Save changes.

Once disabled, you will no longer see the filing location prompt when sending emails.
