Inserting content from Office 365
Who is this article for?
Users who want to insert content from Office 365 when composing or replying to an email.
No elevated permissions are required.
This article explains how to insert files, folders, and links from your Office 365 locations directly into an email while using Outlook.
Note: This feature supports Outlook for the web and desktop.
1. Insert content from Office 365
- When composing or replying to an email, open the toolbar menu and select the OnePlaceMail app.
- Select the Office 365 location you want to insert content or a link from.
- If you want to insert a folder, select the ellipsis on the right-hand side and choose Insert as link.
- If you want to insert a file, select the file and choose one of the following options:
- Insert as link
- Insert as attachment
- Convert to PDF and insert
