Central Search Enhancements and Fixes

• New Open in App option in Preview Mode allows opening files directly in their native app.

• .msg files are now supported in Results Table and Preview Screen for easier email viewing and management.

• Fixed navigation issues to Teams Private and Shared Channels.

2. 15 April 2026

Enhanced saved location filtering for Central Search

• This release introduces new capability to filter saved locations at both the library and folder levels.
• Users can now apply filters through: 
  • A navigation-based approach.
  • Perform searches within the saved location selector.
• These enhancements enable users to quickly and efficiently find specific locations, significantly improving usability and overall search efficiency.

3. 11 March 2026

Save folder automation

The app now supports Save folder automation. You can automate email filing through the creation of Save Folders. Using the Ideagen Mail Manager app, you can configure Save Folders mapped to your preferred Microsoft 365 locations. Outlook rules can then be set up to automatically move emails into these folders, triggering the content to sync seamlessly to the corresponding Microsoft 365 locations.

Filtering for Central Search

Additional email filtering capabilities have been included:

• Subject
• File name
• To
• From
• Cc
• Attachment status (Has attachments/No attachments)
• Sent date
• Size

The Manage filters functionality has been added, allowing you to customise filter visibility in the Filter by panel.

You can now set a default Sent Date range in the Settings panel, which automatically syncs with the Sent Date selection in the filter.

User interface

Terminology across the interface has been updated to align with Helix's capitalisation guidelines for improved consistency and clarity.

Conversation ID automation

The app now supports Conversation ID automation. You can automatically file all future emails in a conversation thread to a designated Microsoft 365 location with one-time setup. After filing the first email manually, all subsequent replies save automatically to the pre-configured location.
