Upgrading the app to Ideagen Mail Manager Enterprise

The OnePlaceMail App has been upgraded to Ideagen Mail Manager Enterprise, requiring Microsoft 365 Azure administrators to complete an update in the Admin Center for apps centrally deployed before 17 September 2025.
1. Understanding the upgrade requirements
If the Ideagen Mail Manager Enterprise web app was centrally admin-deployed before 17 September 2025, a Microsoft 365 Azure administrator must complete an update in the Admin Center.
This upgrade activates new features that rely on event-based activation, where an admin must accept the changes being made to the OnePlaceMail App. The upgrade also updates the app name and icons to reflect the rebranding to Ideagen Mail Manager.
Important: Users who installed the old OnePlaceMail App as a single user via AppSource or the Microsoft store before 17 September 2025 won't be notified to upgrade. It's best for a Microsoft 365 admin to deploy the app centrally via the Microsoft 365 admin centre.
2. Completing the pending update via the Admin Center
To complete the required upgrade via the Admin Center where the OnePlaceMail App has already been centrally deployed, follow these steps:
- Log into the Microsoft 365 admin centre.
- Select Settings.
- Select Integrated Apps.
- Find or search for Ideagen Mail Manager for Outlook.
You will see that there is an Update pending for the Ideagen Mail Manager App.
- Select the app to open the deployment details.
- Select Know more and update.
You can see further information about the changes, which involves working with events in the app.
- Select Accept and update to accept the changes and upgrade the app.
- Wait for the update to complete.
- Select Done once finished.
The upgrade is now complete. To confirm, the status will display as OK.
Note: It may take up to 12 hours for the upgrade to take effect. Wait 24 hours before submitting a ticket to the Ideagen Mail Manager Enterprise Solutions Support team.
