This article outlines the product changes that have been made in release 7.9.
1. Release 7.9 overview
We are excited to announce that one of our most requested enhancements is now available in EnterpriseDocs — the ability to edit properties for multiple items in one transaction. This will enhance productivity and ensure better classification of documents.
2. Enhancements
- Edit properties/metadata of multiple items in one action in EnterpriseDocs Explorer.
- Support for SharePoint 2019.
- Support for Office 2019.
3. Bug fixes
- Resolved issue where email subject was incorrectly promoted to the title property when saving an attachment to SharePoint.
- Resolved issue with incorrect version installed on x64-bit Office 2016 machines.
- Resolved issue when selecting an Office 365 group (Microsoft Teams group) in People and Groups column.
- Resolved issue where an extra semicolon was added when saving a single value to a People and Groups column.
4. Minor release 7.9.1
4.1. Enhancements
- Reduced prompts for authentication when checking for solution profile and configuration updates in the background.
- Reduced prompts for authentication when performing license checks.
4.2. Bug fixes
- Fixed bug with editing multiple item properties when email column mapping is in place.
5. Minor release 7.9.2
5.1. Enhancements
- Improved experience for Outlook 2016/2019/365 when viewing content with multiple monitors on Windows 10.
- Office 365 label values now visible in columns when viewing SharePoint content in EnterpriseMail and EnterpriseDocs Explorer.
- Azure Information Protection label values can now be extracted and promoted to SharePoint columns via Solution Profile configuration profiles.
5.2. Bug fixes
- Resolved issue with extracting email headers to columns to support the underscore character.
- Resolved issue where sending an email with an Azure Information Protection label triggered the attachment add event.
