This article outlines the product changes that have been made in release 7.2.
1. What's new in version 7.2
Release 7.2 has been an exciting one to work on and now release. After reviewing our roadmap, we realized more than half of the enhancements in this release were direct requests from our customers.

- Support for Office 2016 and Windows 10.
- Ability to attach emails and documents to existing SharePoint list items.
- EnterpriseDocs Explorer: drag and drop files from desktop and file system to SharePoint locations.
- Suggested locations: EnterpriseMail can now suggest filing locations for emails saved to SharePoint/Office 365.
2. Enhancements
2.1. Featured in EnterpriseMail and EnterpriseDocs
- Navigation tree: filter lists and libraries (e.g. hide system lists).
- Advanced filtering available in Solution Profile (e.g. filter to quick launch items).
- Right-click action to add locations to favorites.
- Created/last modified date from Windows Explorer promoted to SharePoint columns.
- Support for Office/Outlook 2016 and Windows 10.
2.2. Performance
- Improved performance when loading item properties during save operations.
- Significantly improved taxonomy column type-ahead lookup (SharePoint 2013 and Office 365).
2.3. EnterpriseMail
- Suggested locations based on previous email filing operations (zero configuration required).
- File preview available from the 'Insert from SharePoint' window.
- 'Save to SharePoint' prompt includes 'do not show again' option.
- Warning message displayed when no email columns are present in location.
- Download files from SharePoint/Office 365 via right-click in embedded grid view.
2.4. EnterpriseDocs
- Support for saving macro-enabled files (.xlsm) directly to SharePoint.
- Drag and drop files from desktop and Windows Explorer to Docs Explorer.
- Download files from SharePoint/Office 365 via ribbon and right-click.
- Option to minimize Docs Explorer to taskbar or close completely.
2.5. Solution Profile
- Create multiple shortcut locations in a single operation.
- Advanced settings to filter SharePoint lists and libraries (e.g. restrict to quick launch items).
2.6. Suggested locations
- Define managed properties for searching email to/from metadata.
- Define regular expressions to match email content and search SharePoint for locations.
- Standalone utility to define expressions and generate config_update.xml.
3. Sandbox solution updates
- Modified: EmToSMTP columns now stored with space between entries.
- Modified: EmFromSMTP now single line text.
- New: EmReceivedByName column added to SharePoint solutions.
4. Notes
- Office 2007 is no longer supported.
- SharePoint 2007 is no longer supported (connections blocked and message shown to user).
5. Bug fixes
- Support for custom claim providers with people picker.
- VSTO runtime dependency installation issue (hashcode error).
- The navigation tree pane now retains size on navigation changes.
- Outlook 2013 add-in now resilient to being disabled.
- Improved VSTO FastPath compatibility.
- Consistent filename formats (hashcode on email) across save methods.
- Solution profiles: blog posts no longer visible on Office Graph items (Delve).
- DPI issues in EnterpriseDocs Explorer when using RDP environments.
- New button no longer greyed out in Outlook ribbon.
6. Known issues
A register of important known issues for this release is being maintained and updated as needed.
