1. What's New in Version R8.9

The new Mail Manager Enterprise Release 8.9 (R8.9) delivers greater security, improved productivity, and enhanced collaboration with Email Tracking. Now supported across EnterpriseMail Desktop and EnterpriseMail App.

2. R8.9.1 – Fixes

• Resolved an issue with licensing where there were no Solution Profile licenses available.

3. R8.9 – Enhancements

• Support to move large files between SharePoint locations via EnterpriseDocs Explorer.
• Support for Email Tracking across EnterpriseMail Desktop and EnterpriseMail App.
• Extended Validation (EV) Code Signing is now supported. This security mechanism uses a digital signature verified by a trusted certificate authority (CA), involving a more rigorous validation process than standard code signing.

4. R8.9 – Fixes

• Resolved an issue where deprecated terms were appearing in term sets for Managed Metadata columns.
• Resolved an issue when performing a drag/drop action to a Solution Profile location via EnterpriseDocs Explorer.
• Resolved an issue where a subsite or classic site with a space in the URL caused errors when using a Central Register for Solution Profile.
• Resolved an issue where a folder content type created in another language appeared as a Word document.

5. R8.9 – Notes and security updates

• EV Code Signing is now available.
• Release 8.9 supports Email Tracking across EnterpriseMail Desktop and EnterpriseMail App.
