Connecting users to a configuration profile

This article explains how to connect users to a configuration profile using group deployment or manual setup.
1. Connect users to configuration profile
Configuration profiles are stored in your administration site. Users must have access to this site to receive settings.
2. Publishing the configuration profile
Once the EnterpriseMail or EnterpriseDocs client is connected to the administration site, the configuration profile will be automatically delivered to users.
2.1. Recommended deployment
- When deploying the MSI file using group deployment tools, specify the site setting URL.
- This URL will be stored in the registry.
- Any future changes to the configuration profile will be automatically delivered to each client installation.
3. Manual connection
3.1. Connect EnterpriseMail
- Open Outlook and select OnePlaceMail from the menu.
- Click Settings in the ribbon.
- Go to the Connected Services tab.
- Add the administration site URL.
- Select Save.
3.2. Connect EnterpriseDocs
- Open the OnePlaceDocs explorer window.
- Select File.
- Click Settings.
- Go to the Connected Services tab.
- Add the administration site URL.
- Select Save.
