This article explains how to manage your Subscription Id across the Mail Manager Enterprise product suite, including Desktop and the App. The Subscription Id ensures users are licensed and ready to use the software immediately upon installation.
1. Subscription Id overview
- The Subscription Id is shared across all Mail Manager Enterprise products.
- After starting a download or trial, an email will be sent to your mailbox containing your Subscription Id.
- For simplicity, the Subscription Id is auto enrolled across your Microsoft 365 tenant.
- All users with Mail Manager Enterprise installed will use the same Subscription Id.
- Contact us if you wish to opt out of auto-subscribing for all users.
2. Enterprise deployment
For enterprise deployments of OnePlace Desktop:
- The primary contact will be advised of the Subscription Id for the organization.
- SharePoint On-premises users can license the suite using legacy licensing.
2.1. Auto deploy Subscription Id
By default, the Subscription Id is automatically applied for each user, allowing them to begin saving to SharePoint or Office 365 immediately after installation and sign-in.
2.2. Apply Subscription Id via group deployment
If auto-subscribe is not used, the Subscription Id can be set during MSI file deployment. This method allows organizations to control which users receive the software.
2.3. Apply Subscription Id manually
If the Subscription Id is not automatically applied, it can be manually added to the client installation.
The Subscription Id is supported for both Microsoft 365 and hybrid environments.
3. Review Subscription Id status
- Desktop: Select Outlook, OnePlaceMail, About, then My License.
- Docs: Click File, then My License.
- App: Click App, Menu, then My Subscription.
