Users who want to learn to create the OnePlace administration site.

No elevated permissions are required.

This article explains the purpose and setup of the OnePlace Solutions Administration Client, used to configure and customise OnePlace Solutions through Configuration Profiles and OnePlaceLive Profiles (if licensed for OnePlaceLive). The Administration Client is only required for these configuration tasks.

1. Create the administration site

Below is a step by step video on how to create your administration site.

2. Admin site URL recommendation

For best practice and minimal configuration changes, it is recommended to use the URL "OnePlacesolutions" when setting up the OnePlace Solutions Admin site.
For example - https://yourtennant.sharepoint.com/sites/oneplacesolutions

If you choose another name for the site, you must let your Customer Success Manager know so we can update this at our side so your profiles will work.

3. Add email columns

To capture and promote email attributes when saving emails and attachments to SharePoint the appropriate SharePoint columns should be created. Please see how you can achieve this via the Administration client.

4. Central configuration for desktop

Using the OnePlace Solutions Administration Client, administrators can centrally control configuration settings for OnePlaceMail Desktop and OnePlaceDocs Desktop.

• Re-label or hide buttons
• Deploy sites
• Turn prompts on or off

Most configuration settings apply specifically to the desktop versions. For OnePlaceMail App, shared settings are available under Shared App & Desktop settings.

5. OnePlaceLive profiles

OnePlaceLive Profiles are available as an add-on feature (check your licensing). They allow administrators to dynamically deliver personalized content and solutions to users across Microsoft 365.
