This article explains how to access and interact with SharePoint and Office 365 content using the Docs explorer. The explorer window brings SharePoint directly to your desktop, making it easy to manage documents without switching applications.

1. Browse SharePoint locations

From Docs explorer, you can select different SharePoint locations, including across site collections, sites, or libraries—all from one interface.

2. Interact with content

1. Select a document or item to update metadata.
2. Open the file in its native application (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
3. Open and share links to the item in your browser.
4. Hold down the Shift key to open multiple documents at the same time.
