Saving from Windows Explorer

Docs explorer, used with Ideagen Mail Manager: Enterprise, allows users to save content directly from Windows Explorer to SharePoint or Office 365. Files can be uploaded via drag and drop or through the Windows right-click menu, with metadata captured during the save process.
1. Drag and drop to Docs explorer
You can drag up to 100 files from Windows Explorer and drop them into the Docs Explorer window.
Alternatively, use the Upload button in Docs Explorer to select files from local or network directories.
Up to 100 files can be saved in a single transaction. Metadata can be captured during the upload, and all files are saved using a background upload process.
2. Right-click: Save to SharePoint
Docs also integrates with the Windows desktop Send To menu, allowing you to save individual files directly to SharePoint or Office 365.
- Select the file you wish to save.
- Right-click the file in Windows Explorer and choose Send to, then click SharePoint.
- Select a SharePoint or Office 365 location.
- Complete any required metadata.
- Click Save in the Save to SharePoint window.
