Saving from a shared mailbox

Users who want to learn to save from a shared mailbox.
No elevated permissions are required.
This guide explains how to save emails from a shared mailbox to SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, or OneDrive using Ideagen Mail Manager: Enterprise.
1. Saving from a secondary mailbox
The app supports saving from a shared mailbox when accessed as a secondary mailbox.
2. Open a shared mailbox as a primary mailbox
2.1. Outlook for Windows
The shared mailbox can be delivered to users through Office 365 capabilities. When the add-in is installed, the app will also be available when accessing a shared mailbox.
The shared mailbox will appear in the Outlook navigation pane.
Select the email, then click Save to SharePoint.
2.2. Outlook for the Web (OWA)
- Select your profile in the top right-hand corner.
- Click Open another mailbox.
- Enter the name of the shared mailbox and click Open.
- The mailbox will now be opened using the user's credentials.
