Saving and sharing content to the Microsoft Teams channel

This guide explains how to use Ideagen Mail Manager: Enterprise to move emails and attachments into Microsoft Teams channels for faster collaboration and decision-making.
1. Overview
The app allows you to save emails and attachments to any Microsoft Teams channel, from any device.
When saving to a Microsoft Teams channel, you can also notify the team and add a message to immediately start a conversation.

On iOS, iPadOS, or Android devices, the app is available via the Microsoft Outlook app.
Note: The app now supports saving multiple emails (up to 100) at a time in a single transaction. This is supported on One Outlook, classic Outlook for Windows, MacOS, and Outlook for Web.
2. Save an attachment or email to a Microsoft Teams channel
- Open the email within Microsoft Outlook and select the Insert From SharePoint icon in the app.
- Select the email or attachment(s) to save to Microsoft Teams.
- Select the Teams node. Your Teams will automatically be presented. Locate the Team you want to share the information with.
- If applicable, select the document library where you'd like to save the email and attachments. You will be able to notify the team with a link to the documents.
- Click Save Here to complete the save.
- Click Notify Teams Channel to communicate with the team and draw their attention.
- Select the required channel and add a message for a call to action.
- If you need to alert specific team members, enter their name in People to Mention.
- Click Finish.
The channel will be updated with your message and a link to the email and document to be reviewed.
