Saving emails to Sharepoint or Microsoft teams from MacOS

Users who want to learn to save emails to SharePoint from MacOS.
No elevated permissions are required.
This article explains how to use Ideagen Mail Manager: Enterprise within Outlook on MacOS to save emails and attachments to SharePoint or Microsoft Teams.
1. Accessing the app
Open an email within Microsoft Outlook and select the Ideagen Mail Manager: Enterprise icon from the ribbon.
2. What to save
Choose whether you would like to save the email and attachments by using the checkboxes.
3. Where to save
The "Where to save" screen allows you to browse or search for a location.
Note: If you have pinned or recent locations from previous saves, these can be used to quickly select a location.
3.1. Options
- Pinned locations set as a favorite
- Recent – location recently saved to
- Show locations for – select a new location to save to:
- SharePoint
- Microsoft Teams
- OneDrive
4. Properties
If required, select a different content type from the dropdown box.
If required, enter values for custom columns.
5. Follow-on actions
After saving the email to the selected location, you can choose to continue working with the saved item:
- Open save location – opens the location in the browser
- Reply with links to all files – creates an email and inserts links to the saved items
