This article explains how to use the Ideagen Mail Manager: Enterprise app to save emails and attachments to SharePoint from Outlook.
1. Saving emails to SharePoint
Ideagen Mail Manager: Enterprise app for Outlook allows you to save emails and attachments to SharePoint Online from any device that supports Outlook.
When the email content type is applied, email attributes are automatically captured and promoted to SharePoint columns during the save process. Additional metadata can also be captured at this stage to enhance searchability and collaboration.
2. Saving multiple emails
You can select and save up to 100 emails in a single transaction. The Ideagen Mail Manager: Enterprise app will appear when multiple emails are selected in your mailbox. Simply click 'Next' and follow the prompts to save the emails to a SharePoint or Microsoft 365 location.
Supported platforms: One Outlook, classic Outlook for Windows, macOS, and Outlook for Web.
3. Saving a single email
When saving a single email, you’ll also have the option to save attachments separately. This provides more flexibility in how content is stored and accessed.
