Accessing content in Microsoft 365 from Outlook

No elevated permissions are required.
This article explains how to use the SharePoint tab in OnePlaceMail to manage and share content within Microsoft 365.
1. Interact with SharePoint content using the SharePoint tab
When selecting a location from the OnePlaceMail folders or navigating your Microsoft 365 environment, the settings available for the item type will be shown in the ribbon on the SharePoint tab.
- Create folder hierarchies (document sets or folders) or list items using the New button.
- Share links to content in SharePoint or add items as attachments using the Email as link or Email as attachment options.
- If the Document ID feature is enabled in your SharePoint environment, links will be generated using the document ID.
Note: The SharePoint tab will appear when viewing content in Microsoft 365 or SharePoint.
