Saving email attachments to SharePoint

Users who want to learn to send and save emails to SharePoint.
No elevated permissions are required.
Save attachments to SharePoint without leaving Outlook. Attachments are always copied, leaving the original email intact.
All email attributes from the host message are automatically captured and promoted to SharePoint columns, when available in the selected location.
1. Save attachments from multiple emails
- Select one or more emails to save only the attachments to SharePoint.
- In the Home ribbon, select More, then Copy Attachments.
- Select the SharePoint location and apply metadata if applicable.
2. Drag and drop attachments to SharePoint
Select one or more attachments from the email preview pane and drag/drop them to a SharePoint location in the Outlook Navigation pane.
3. Right-click to copy attachments to SharePoint
In Outlook, right-click one or more email attachments and choose to copy the selected attachment or all attachments to SharePoint.
If multiple attachments need to be saved, select Copy all attachments to SharePoint to save them all at once.
If only specific attachments need to be saved, select Copy selected attachment(s) to SharePoint.
4. Save an attachment from a calendar item
Attachments from calendar items can also be saved to SharePoint using the same methods.
