Users who want to get started with OnePlace solutions.
No elevated permissions are required.
Installing the OnePlace Solutions suite of products takes less than 3 minutes. Simply download, install, and start using OnePlaceMail and OnePlaceDocs.
1. Connecting to Office 365
After installing OnePlace Solutions Desktop, you will automatically be connected to your default SharePoint site, Microsoft Teams, and OneDrive for Business:
2. Connecting to additional SharePoint sites
- Open Outlook and select OnePlaceMail from the top menu.
- Click on Favorites.
- Choose Add a SharePoint Connection.
- In your browser, navigate to your SharePoint site and copy the URL.
- Return to Outlook and paste the URL into the connection field.
- Click Verify, then select OK.
OnePlace Solutions will automatically apply security trimming, showing only the lists, libraries, and folders you have permission to access.
3. Connecting SharePoint on-premises for OnePlaceMail
- In Outlook, select OnePlaceMail from the menu.
- Select Favorites.
- Click Add a SharePoint Connection.
- Browse to your SharePoint site and copy the URL.
- Paste the URL into the connection field.
- Select Verify and then click OK.
OnePlace Solutions will automatically apply security trimming, showing only the lists, libraries, and folders the user has permission to access.
4. Connecting SharePoint on-premises for OnePlaceDocs
- From OnePlace Docs Explorer, select Favorites.
- Click Add a SharePoint Connection.
- Browse to your SharePoint site and copy the URL.
- Paste the URL into the URL field.
- Select Verify and then click OK.
OnePlace Solutions will automatically apply security trimming, showing only the lists, libraries, and folders the user has permission to access.
