This article outlines configuration options that apply to both the Ideagen Mail Manager App and Desktop, managed via configuration profiles.
1. Shared configuration settings
- Enable email content type detection when saving emails: Set a default custom content type name to automatically apply when saving emails to SharePoint. By default, the system looks for OnePlaceMail Email, but this can be customized.
- Column mapping: Set the URL of your custom column mapping list to ensure email attributes are correctly mapped to SharePoint site columns.
- Email Tracking Service configuration (requires Email Tracking license): Enter the URL generated when creating the Azure Function resource to enable the modern tracking service for saving emails from both the app and desktop.
